A leading Nordic wine and spirits producer Altia, has signed a distribution agreement with Infinium Spirits to enter the US market with Finnish brand, Koskenkorva Vodka.
Altia will also take part in the Astana Expo 2017 world expo event to be held in Kazakhstan
Altia has decided to expand the Koskenkorva plant’s starch production. The aim of the investment is to notably increase the production capacity of barley starch. The Koskenkorva plant is the only facility in the world that produces starch out of barley. Barley starch is used e.g. in paper and paperboard industries.
Leading Nordic wines and spirits producer Altia Plc and retail chain Marks & Spencer agreed to start distribution of Koskenkorva Vodka in the UK. Marks & Spencer is listing the renewed vodka brand in September.

I work as a Production Manager at Koskenkorva distillery. I’m responsible for the entire production process, including the distillation, the feed, the starch and other components.
