Having worked with product development and quality matters in the food and alcohol industry for years, Laura Koivisto joined Altia in 2017 as product development manager. Her main job is to develop beverage recipes for entirely new product ranges and to introduce new flavours to existing ones.
I am responsible for all wine brands in Estonia, both the partner wines and own wines. My work is quite versatile. One of the key elements is creating brand plans and planning for the coming periods.
In my job there are two very different parts, firstly securing that we deliver the same quality of our basic Blossa glögg year after year and secondly working on a new product, our annual Blossa, every year.
My role is surprisingly diverse. In our section, no one has their own dedicated machine and we all tend to cover the different stations between us.
I work as a Production Manager at Koskenkorva distillery. I’m responsible for the entire production process, including the distillation, the feed, the starch and other components.
I work as a Consumer Insight Manager, which means that I am responsible for all consumer insight related projects and activities across the entire company.
